Hummingbird Activities

Southeastern Arizona is a hummingbird watchers' paradise! Fifteen species regularly nest in or migrate through our deserts, mountains, and riparian areas.

From spring through early fall, SABO offers a variety of events especially for fans of these fierce and flamboyant birds, including:

• banding sessions at the San Pedro House and in Carr Canyon
  
• half-day field clinics at hummingbird hot spots
  
• weekend workshops
  
• week-long tours
