Fiesta de las Aves: Hummingbird Banding at Casa de San Pedro B&B

This Fiesta de las Aves banding session takes place from 4 to 6 p.m. and is open to guests of Casa de San Pedro and up to 6 non-guests. Registration is required for non-guests. There is no charge to attend, but donations are appreciated. "Adoptions" of banded birds may be available, with proceeds benefiting SABO's research, outreach, ad advocacy programs.

Capture rates and species diversity can vary dramatically through the season, but up to 30 hummingbirds of 7 species may be banded in a 2-hour session.
